Next Step

So the next step on the prototyping! =)

I finished the digital level (I basically made a photoshop file with all the stuff that is on the level, they are in different layers so I can change the position of everything). It's very useful, because now we can do any kinds of changes we want, very easily.



I will not put the pds file here, of course, but here is a .gif that I made using the images of each floor (I can change the floor by just unhiding folders. Everything is very clear in the file, btw):

(notice that is the upper view aways, so in the 2nd floor you still can see something of the first floor, and in the 3rd floor you can see somethings of the 2nd and of the 1st one. And the size of the floors are correct, the last one is smaller)

We already have some modeled basic-levels (like this one, The Dojo) but maybe we will some something a little bit more simple to the prototype only.

Going on, the next step for the artistic team is the animations.
Since we are working with the XBOX Avatar, we can have it with some pre-loaded animations (that we can use in the game, what is AWESOME!). But since we have a ninja game (even if they have in the LIVE store some ninja animations), we still have to animate some movements.
The good thing is that they give us the character rig, so we just have to animate it. In the game, the character import the Avatar's person characteristics. It's awesome.

A good thing about the game, is that people can bring their own personal stuff of the avatar INTO the game. For example, if your avatar have a Halo helmet, when you play my game, your avatar will have a Halo helmet. Of course the Halo helmet will not give you Halo powers (or any different powers, unfortunatelly), but everybody will see how exactly is your avatar!

We still working in some ninja movements, when I have updates I will post here!

I have to render some material to post here, maybe next time so ;)
